Guest elSueco Report post Posted 07/12/2006 02:27 PM Hello! I´m using this Send Phone Message module and it dials the phone indicated in the Phone field. I can see that according to voiceguide someone/something answeres the call and starts running the script indicated in the Script/Wav field. However, the called person does not hear anything. You can see this phone number in the OutDial_Contacted_Human.txt file and the OutDialQue database is empty, so what happened with the call? How can I make sure that the script only runs when a person picks up the phone? Entry in the OutDial_Contacted_Human.txt file: 04:07 12-07-06, "0735804375", 2, 5, none, C:\voice\petdirekt\PLAY_PETDIREKT.vgs, C:\voice\petdirekt\PLAY_PETDIREKT.vgs, [PIN_FINDER]{8000373}, [LANGUAGE]{2}[QueuedFrom] {C:\Voice\PetDirekt\petdirekt.vgs}[OutDial_RetriesLeft]{2} See also attached .vgm file Thank you! SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/13/2006 08:32 AM Trace shows that VG is making a call to 0735804375 160654,98 3 state Dialing 0735804375 And that 20 seconds after dialing the number the Dialogic card still has not heard any ringbacks: 160717,98 3 event NORINGBACK, iCode=133 state=5200 that is actually taken to mean that the person receiving the call has picked up the phone before the Dialogic card could hear any ringbacks, so the script is then started. If the destination number doe not ring then it means that dialing 0735804375 on those lines does not connect you to the right number. You should also check what the phone company plays on that line when you dial 0735804375 on it, as it looks like the tones played (if any) are not correctly detected by the Dialogic card at this stage. I can call the same number from a phone handset connected to the same line without any problem. So what can I do to make it work? I haven´t changed the ringback tone in the ConfigLine file, it contains the same information as when installed voiceguide. Any idea? jose Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/13/2006 12:19 PM I can call the same number from a phone handset connected to the same line without any problem. Maybe the Dialogic card is starting the dialing too soon after picking up the handset - try adding a pause before the dialing is made by adding a comma at the start of the number to be dialed. I haven´t changed the ringback tone in the ConfigLine file, it contains the same information as when installed voiceguide. The tone definitions should be changed to match the tones played by your phone company. The default tone definitions will not always work... Share this post Link to post
