Archangel Report post Posted 08/04/2006 06:44 AM Support Team: first I`d like to thank you all for such a swift response. I got a problem when using the record module.the default wave format is dialogic ADPCM .vox format. However, I prefer ULaw wav format with 8KHz 16Bit sampling. What should I do? Thanks Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/04/2006 07:20 AM The recording is made in ADPCM and converted over the PCM .WAV format (8kHz, 8bit, Mono). If you would like to further convert the file afterwards you will need to do this processing yourself - this is usually done by calling command line conversion tools from the Run Program or Run VBScript modules. Archangel Report post Posted 08/04/2006 01:20 PM Is there any way to directly record the conversation in ULaw format? I mean the dialogic card supports 8 KHz 8bit compressed Ulaw format. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/04/2006 09:01 PM You would be able to recod in ULaw if you are using one of these Dialogic cards: D/21D, D/41D and Dialog/4 and using the v5.x of VoiceGuide. See: http://www.voiceguide.com/suppRecomHardware.htm Share this post Link to post
Archangel Report post Posted 08/05/2006 11:13 AM I have checked my Dialogic card (D41JCT) which support ULaw recording. I mean, how to configure the voiceguide to make it record conversation in ULaw. Thanks! Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/06/2006 12:28 AM You cannot set Dialogic's Wave drivers to record by default into ULaw format when D/41JCT card is used. Any such conversion would need to be done after the file is recorded. Share this post Link to post
