E1 Dialogic Error

Recommended Posts

I have installed Intel Dialogic SR6, voiceguide 5x, then Run the voiceguide for dialogic (update very carefully!).

However, When i start voiceguide i get an error like so:

231256.83 0 init LineOpenDialogic dxxxB1C1 => [err gc gc_OpenEx(:N_dtiB1T1:P_ISDN) error (opening digital line) failed, gc(0x89) - CCLIB specific, cc(0x3) - Message too big or too small]

on all the lines from a D/300JCT-E1 card.

And no problems with the other card in the machine (a D/41JCT-LS).

This machine is being reloaded after a hard drive failure.

I have all the harware in the same positions, and also have the backup of the VG directories and everything.

I have also tried dumping my old voice guide program files directory over the new one. I think it is a dialogic error, not a voiceguide error. But there seems to be not configuring anything with the SR6.0. What can i be doing wrong.

If you have a chance to have a look at the log files attached and can offer any support, I would be gratefull. As i need this system back in before monday start of play (australian time).

Best regards, and thanks in advance.

Ben Harper

Have you double checked the ISDN configuration? Is the E1 line plugged into the card and is the status light on the card's back green?

Take a look at the ISDN protocol selected and also check the backed up Dialogic config files (in C:\Program Files\Dialogic subdirectories) to see if any changes were made in them to make the system work beforehand.

You should concentrate on getting ISDIAG working. Once ISDIAG is working then VoiceGuide will work as well.

It seems that I had not set the ISDN protocol, should have been CTR4.

I am my own worst enemy.

Thanks Again Adam, or whoever replied.

Best Regards

Ben Harper.
