Modem

Does anybody know about ANY modem, internal or external, than can positively support the following three features?

1. Caller ID

2. Call transfer

3. DTMF tone detection

 

I've been unsuccessfully searching for an answer during the last two weeks. If you have the solution to this ...enigma to me.....please let me know. I will profoundly appreciate your favour.

You will need to do a fair bit of trial and error type testing to find a modem, and you may end up not finding one at all. Especially if you want to do call transfers - you will need to ensure that the modem's hookflash length is the one expected by the PBX.

 

You will save yourself a lot of time by just getting a Dialogic card.
