Record Menu Options

What is the best software or program to record a file witch i want to use as a menu?

 

So i want to record a file with something like

 

Press 1 if you want to speek our service centre

 

Press 2 blablabla

 

When i use the standard sound recorder of windows XP en i put it in PCM 11025Hz, 8bit, Mono. fromat, than the quality is verry bad.

 

Can someone give me some advise what i can use for the best quality?

You would need to get professional microphones and a studio type setup.

 

Best to just go to a studio. Search "Voice Talent" on Google for people who record prompts professionally.
