simonq2 Report post Posted 08/31/2006 06:12 AM I have installed a Dialogic D4PCIU card in an XP box and installed SR6.0. The card shows up in Device Manager fine and detects in the Dialogic DCM fine, and startes fine. It does not however, seem to show up in VoiceGuide. When i go to the config wizard there isn't the 4 lines there from this card. I can run one of the demo's from Dialogic like the Answering Machine, and it works perfectly. Answers call and does message and stuff. It's just VoiceGuide that can't see card and 4 lines. Any idea what to try. Looked at maybe Wave drivers cause they caused a problem with an old ISA card we tried previously, but there was no oemsetup.inf file in Lib folder of SR6.0. Also, I still have the old ISA card in the computer, should it work with SR6.0? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/31/2006 06:38 AM You should install and use "VoiceGuide for Dialogic". Download "VoiceGuide for Dialogic" and follow installation instructions in the README.TXT file contained in that .ZIP I still have the old ISA card in the computer, should it work with SR6.0?If the DCM detects it then it would be OK, but support for many ISA cards has been discontinued in SR6.0 Share this post Link to post
simonq2 Report post Posted 09/01/2006 12:09 AM That seems to have worked. Does not error now. But the new problem is that when i call the system, you cannot hear the WAV files it plays. I was using the same script/wavs with old ISA Dialogic card and worked fine, and tried some WAVs that i know work fine previously. I just hear nothing, but it actually plays (get delay). Is this a Wave driver thing? Share this post Link to post
simonq2 Report post Posted 09/01/2006 12:39 AM I have tried it with some 8kHz, 128kbps, 16bit wav files after i deleted the 0 sized vox files. No sound either. Share this post Link to post
simonq2 Report post Posted 09/01/2006 12:52 AM Weird. I deleted the log files and the OutDial mdb and re-ran it and it worked. Played the 8kHz file fine, then it also played the 22kHz wav i had there. Dunno why it started working but thats good for now. Thanks for help. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/01/2006 01:08 AM It may have been the OutDial.mdb file that was causing this... Which version of VG for Dialogic are you using? Current versions will detect the OutDial.mdb issue automatically and will fix it behind the scenes upon restart. VoiceGuide for Dialogic is designed to use 8kHz WAV files (or 8kHz VOX ADPCM).
