Text To Speach Problem

Hello I have enterprise edition. and i just downloaded and installed the microsoft sapi from yoru website. I restarted the computer.

But im confused on how to work the sapi and voiceguide together.

 

I put up a simple "play sound file" module... I did not load a wav into it, but instead i entered text where it says "text to speak" .

 

however, whenever it gets to this module, it says:

"Theres been an error playing this file, please check the file format"

 

 

I know this is probably simple, but I am missing something. : (

I dont know what change i did, but somehow it reads the tts now. However, it plays it out to my PC speakers and not to phone line?

 

anyone know where to cahnge this setting at?

 

and boy is it an ugly voice. LOL I better get the ATT one.

You may want to try re-installing SAPI again. We've heard reports from other customers who had cases of SAPI misdirecting the TTS output to the speaker instead of to the file as VoiceGuide asks it to and re-installing SAPI seemed to have fixed such problems.
