Guest EricGuest Report post Posted 09/12/2006 01:31 AM Here's the situation, and here's what I want to do: I want to listen to a telephone conference call, but I have to be away from the office at that time. So, I come up with the idea that I'll use VoiceGuide to call into the conference call at that certain time when the conference call starts, and then I'll use a very simple script that records the call for 60 minutes (ie. I use a timeout=3600) path. But what is happening is that after Voiceguide dials out , it wants to wait for the answering machine to finish before starting the script. In fact, yes, it is a recorded "welcome message" first that answers the call, but it kicks right in into the live-human conference call discussion. After a while of waiting for the answering machine to finish, Voiceguide just hangs up. Advice please? (for your reference, you will see what VG version and card I'm using by looking at my previous other posts..) Thanks!! Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/12/2006 02:18 AM Just specify IGNORE for the "Answering Machine Script" setting. From http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/DialListInto.htm : If IGNORE is specified in this field then VoiceGuide will ignore Dialogic's advice that an answering machine was detected and will just start the script/file specified in the "when a real person answers" text box.
