pierre Report post Posted 09/14/2006 08:21 PM (edited) Hi it looks like we are in trouble with registration. As you can see in the attachment before registering the product the script works with the dialogic card and after registering it doesn't work. Thanks for your help Best regards Pierre [attached .pdf removed as it showed license information] Edited 09/14/2006 08:25 PM by SupportTeam Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/14/2006 08:28 PM Attached screenshots showed that the script was doing a "Dial and Conference" transfer, and the license information showed that the Dialer option was not enabled in that license. You need to have the Dialer option enabled when doing "Dial and Conference". Share this post Link to post
pierre Report post Posted 09/14/2006 08:33 PM So you mean that I spend 400$ not to be able to dial out ! Quite expensive to receive calls and not being able to manage them. Transfert doesn't work neither. So what am I able to do with the software ? Regards Pierre Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/14/2006 08:38 PM You need to buy the Dialer license to use the functionality that the script is trying to do. For information on the features that the various license types support see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vgFeatures.htm, and also see the Help file topic covering call transfers: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/modXfer.htm You will see that it explicitly mentions in there that the Dialer is required to do "Dial and Conference". pierre Report post Posted 09/16/2006 12:01 PM Very nice. So I bought a non functional product and I must pay again to have it work !!! Can you explain me how usefull is an IVR without dialing option. It looks like you have not so good best practice of selling. May I remember past technical questions about problem with dialogic board. You reply that is was a problem with dialogic ... And the guys from intel found .... a patch of voice guide and after it worked. You didn't even told me about the bug in VoiceGuide and let me go to dialogic with complains ... I hope you'll get in touch with me with some proposal to make me forget about that and let's have a good relationship in the future. regards Pierre Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/16/2006 09:58 PM May I remember past technical questions about problem with dialogic board. You reply that is was a problem with dialogic ... And the guys from intel found .... a patch of voice guide and after it worked. You didn't even told me about the bug in VoiceGuide and let me go to dialogic with complains ... Had a look through the previous posts you made: http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4276 http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4277 http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4286 As per the posts, the only time we advised you to speak with Dialogic is when you indicated that the Dialogic service does not start automatically on your system ( http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4276 ). Starting of Dialogic service has nothing to do with VoiceGuide. The Dialogic service must be started before VoiceGuide can run. The patch for the hookflash problem you reported in http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4277 was issued the same day when the traces from your system were supplied. It looks like you may not even have read our responses in that thread as 3 days later you made another thread on the same topic complaining that you did not get a response ( http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4286 ) and in our response there we pointed you to the original thread. pierre Report post Posted 09/17/2006 02:07 PM topipc 4277 has no response after I sent the file. Ok let's say that you are right and don't want to be wrong anytime. Hope you'll have a lot of happy customer in the future. Regards Pierre Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/17/2006 09:00 PM topipc 4277 has no response after I sent the file. Not sure why you would say this, as anyone looking at that thread ( http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4277 ) can see the individual posts and each post has a timestamp associated with it, so it is plain to see how soon responses were provided after the file was posted: first response was made about 10 hours after the file was posted and second response was made about 14 hours after the file was posted, with the second response indicating the resolution to the problem captured in the trace.
