normbuddy Report post Posted 09/22/2006 03:41 AM Hi, I have installed a Dialogic DMV160LP board on my computer and I am not able to use Voice Guide with it. Could you please help me with that ? For all DMV boards, the readme file in your dialogic patch ask for SR6.0 PCI and the latest service update. But I didn’t install the service update since it is restricted to those who paid the licence. I don’t like to pay for something that I am not sure that will work fine. Can I do without it for now ? Dialogic’s Configuration Manager seems to detect and start the board correctly. I followed the procedure explained in you readme file but I don’t think I have the right config.xml file. If I use the “Sample Config for 4 ports using analog card”, the state of the first line is : “dlgc dx_open(dxxxB1C1) error 0”. If I use the “Sample Config for 16 ports using analog DMV160LS card”, the state of the first line is : “err gc gc_OpenEx(:N_dtiB1t1:P_pdk_na_an_io:V_dxxxB1C1) error (opening digital line)… Thanks for your help. Could you please use the sys_infoDNA.exe tool ( available from http://www.voiceguide.com/suppTechnicalSupp.htm ) and .ZIP up and post the report file here so that we can see what the system configuration is. Alternatively can we have a look at this system using PCAnywhere or VNC? SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/24/2006 11:57 PM Forgot to mention before that the trace from VoiceGuide itself would be helpful here. It would indicte if the correct Config.xml is in fact being loaded and how the card responds to the various intialisation commands. Enable logging by setting the log levels to 10 in VG.INI as per below: [Log] VoiceGuide=10 NumberLoader=0 VoicemailManager=0 EmailSender=0 TapiWrapOcx=10 SapiWrapOcx=0 Then restart VG. Debug Trace files will be created in VG's \log\ subdirectory. Please post the traces. When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments. Share this post Link to post

The sys_infoDNA.exe or its_sysinfo.exe files you suggest on your page (http://www.voiceguide.com/suppTechnicalSupp.htm ) do not exist with SR6.0 for Windows. So I have : Pentium 4 Windows XP SP2 English Dialogic DMV160LS card Dialogic SR 6.0 PCI evaluation version Voice Guide version 6.0.0.3107 If you need it, I can give you access to my computer, but you must give me an appointment. SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/28/2006 06:49 AM The error message in trace show that: "GlobalCall not started" You must start the Dialogic service before starting VG. Also, v6.0.0.3107 is an old version (where did yo download it form?) Please download the current version of VG for Dialogic from our WWW and use that current version. Share this post Link to post
