Guest eternity575 Report post Posted 09/28/2006 08:27 PM Hi.. After i got a big help for a system i dont really know and NEED to know for my client.. I'm here with another one.. (question) is it possible to let the caller press the number he wants before the recording ends? lets say he want to go to sales and doesnt want to listen to the whole menu? or maybe he wants to go back to main menu while listening to a boring lecture about grass and its green color.. how can i do it? SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/28/2006 10:34 PM We have seen this problem with some voice modems. Note that most voice modems will stop playing as soon as DTMF is encountered. Basically the voice modems that do not stop playing end up downloading the entire sound file and will then not stop playing it when told to do so. They will just keep on playing until the entire file they downloaded before is finished. This problem is sometimes resolved by updating the drivers for the modem, or using some other TAPI drivers altogether... Maybe this modem has some non-standard command which lets controlling software stop the playback in come other ways(?) Which modem are you using? Share this post Link to post
