Guest researcher Report post Posted 10/16/2006 09:29 AM What is the cost of a dialogic card for 24 lines? Is it all right to have it on just 1 PC and provide 24 telephone lines into it? Or will I require 24 PCs also for 24 telephone lines? Kindly advice Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/16/2006 08:34 PM You should probably be looking at getting a T1 ISDN line. T1 ISDN can carry 24 lines over one cable. Speak to your telephone company about this option. The Dialogic card you would use to connect to a T1 ISDN line is a D/240JCT. In some countries instead of T1 ISDN you can get an E1 ISDN - which carries up to 30 lines on one cable. If you want to have 24 analog lines then you should have two D/120JCT cards in the PC. Each of the D/120JCT cards takes 12 analog lines. Having 24 lines handled by one PC is normal. VoiceGuide can control up to about 300 lines on one PC - you just use multiple Dialogic cards in one PC. Dialogic also makes cards which can handle 48, 60 and 120 lines per card. Let us know if you have any further questions. Share this post Link to post
