Guest Buzby Report post Posted 10/17/2006 01:34 AM Sorry to be nit-picky, but thought you might like to know about a little inconsistency in your VG for Dialogic 6.0.3179 uninstaller. When VG is installed, then immediately uninstalled, it leaves the following files present in the c:\Program Files\VoiceGuide directory: ccrpTmr6.dll Comdlg32.ocx installLog.txt ktTel.ocx libexpat.dll moreFunc.dll mscomct2.ocx MSCOMCTL.OCX MSCOMM32.OCX MSFLXGRD.OCX MSRDO20.DLL MSWINSCK.OCX NTSVC.OCX SapiWrap.ocx SmartMenuXP.dll SmartMenuXP.ocx SmartNetButton.ocx SmartSubClass.dll Tabctl32.ocx Toolbar2.ocx vbSendMail.dll I've checked the other subdirectories (e.g. Log, Scripts etc.) and these appear to be cleared out and deleted properly, so long as you have not got any user-created files (e.g. VG log files, customised scripts etc.) in there. SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/17/2006 02:07 AM The OCX and DLL files which are saved in the C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide directory are the ones which the installer originally copied into C:\Windows\System32 directory, and upon uninstallation deleted if they were not marked as used by other programs. They are saved in C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide just in case any of the DLLs or OCXs were in fact used by other programs on the system, but were just not marked as being used. Storing the OCXs and DLLs in C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide allows user to easily put back any DLLs or OCXs into C:\Windows\System32 if needed. Share this post Link to post
