salter Report post Posted 10/26/2006 05:20 AM I just reinstalled my Windows XP SP2, downloaded and installed the current version of VG and tried to run my VG script that worked fine before reinstallation. I found that VG crashes everytime I tried to connect to MySQL DB. Any help will be appreciated. Here is the last line in the log file: 150526.75 1 state [CheckCustomerBase] DB Query 150526.75 1 db ODBC mode used name:[MyODBC] connect:[ODBC;DRIVER={MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver};SERVER=localhost;USER=admin;PASSWORD=pass;PORT=3306] which I suppose doesn't tell much about the crash. For the benefit of other readers: If there is ever a problem with ODBC connections we recommend first trying to connecting to the MySQL DB from within a Run VBScript module, instead of trying to connect to it from within a Database Query module. There are many VBScripts samples on the net which demonstrate how this is done, as well as some posts on the Support Forum.
