Guest kelvin Report post Posted 10/27/2006 01:52 PM we are using hornet 56k external voice modem which using Conexant Chipset. Sound quality plays well but, sometimes it cannot play the voice file. When I hangup the telephone, VoiceGuide shows hangup and hangup(2). After that, it hold the line and VoiceGuide status shows 'unavailable'. If I power off the modem and restart VoiceGuide it shows 'Waiting for Call' again. I am using 4 line enterprise version voiceGuide under Windows XP. Is there any modem string have to configure for VoiceGuide? Do u have any experience for setting up Conexant/Rockwell V.90 and V.92 modem. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/27/2006 09:53 PM This is a known issue with TAPI/Wave drivers. This (and other) problems are the reason why we recommend that Dialogic cards be used for professional IVR systems. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/29/2006 12:19 AM Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Trace Logs which capture the problem, this will allow us to see what happened and confirm if this was the known WAV driver problem which is happening here. Enable logging by setting the log levels to 10 in VG.INI as per below: [Log] VoiceGuide=10 NumberLoader=0 VoicemailManager=0 EmailSender=0 TapiWrapOcx=10 SapiWrapOcx=0 Then make a test call which demonstrates the problem. Debug Trace files will be created in VG's \log\ subdirectory. Please post the traces once the problem soccurs. When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments.
