Dtmf Not Detecting

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I using latest version of VG, win2000, and dialogic D/41 EPCI card.

When connect telephone, all work, but problem is when connect GSM gateway (ericsson F250m). Don't detect key press from mobile phone. Also, don't detect caller id. When connect from GSM gateway to telephone with display and identification of call, is OK, diplay is phone number corectly.

Perhaps the GSM gateway is not passing (ie. clamping) the DTMF tones ?

You should check the D/41EPCI specs to confirm that it is capable of receiving CallerID which is sent by the GSM gateway. Do you know in what format the GSM Gateway sends the CallerID signal?

You need to check the encoding which is used to trasmit the information over the telephone line...

Read the specifications or ask the supplier/manufacturer...

Speak to the GSM gateway supplier and tell them you have this problem when using their GSM gateway. You will probably need to try using a different GSM gateway...
