BillR Report post Posted 11/30/2006 07:26 PM Is it possible to get standarized code already created by Katalina Technologies or a third-party for integrating the Voicemail function with a relational database such as Microsoft Access or MySql? It seems like this question gets asked often enough that it should be a part of the Voiceguide package. If template type get/set scripts have already been designed and debugged is it possible to get a copy of them? Bill Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/30/2006 08:51 PM Are you referring to replacing the VmBoxList.xml file based voicemail box database? How many voicemail boxes are you using? Share this post Link to post
BillR Report post Posted 11/30/2006 09:27 PM I would replace the VmBoxList.xml file, as well as replace the scripts for writing and reading the sound files. Right now I have about 100 boxes, but potentially would want to scale up to thousands. I also would want to be able to add a mailbox without having to restart the system. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/30/2006 09:49 PM I would replace the VmBoxList.xml file, as well as replace the scripts for writing and reading the sound files.AT this stage yo would need to make these modifications yourself, or contact sales@voiceguide for a quote on us doing these changes to your specifications. I also would want to be able to add a mailbox without having to restart the system.VoiceGuide for Dialogic detects when a new version of VmBoxList.xml is saved and reads it in - there is no need to restart the system.
