Guest Jennifer Report post Posted 12/02/2006 10:18 PM Hello Support, I was looking on the forum to find any information about Voice Recognition but I can't find detail information. If you wan to buy the software or hardware I can ask the Sales Team about the price etc. I asked the Sales Team but they can't give me detail information. I tought this is a Support Forum to help customers with their needs and questions they have about a software they bought from your company. I am a little worried about the service. Our company bought your software and we want to add more features in our system. We want to setup a telephone support service. We want to go further with your team but we want your support. I asked a lot of question at the Sales team but the only answer I've got is the price instead of answers to a lot of my questions so I decided to come back at the forum. Can you give me the right answers please? I need technical support. * We have VG installed on a server (vg for dialogic) * 2 Dialogic cards (2x4= 8 lines) * Our telephone problem report service is working 1) Do I need to buy special hardware if We want to add the Voice recognition features for the telephone number Service? 2) Can I still use VG for dialogic on the computer with the Voice recognition features? Thank you in advanced. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/03/2006 05:56 AM 1) Do I need to buy special hardware if We want to add the Voice recognition features for the telephone number Service? The Dialogic card needs to have Speech Recognition capabilities. See here for list of which cards suppprt "Speech" : http://www.intel.com/design/network/produc...ocessing.htm#vb 2) Can I still use VG for dialogic on the computer with the Voice recognition features? Speech Recognition is an add-on to "VoiceGuide for Dialogic". There is a lot of setup involved with Speech Recognition, it does not just 'work out of the box' for most applications. To start off you need to know how to generate dictionaries and tune the recogniser engine, if you have not done this before then you would probably need to either have us do this for you or employ a Speech Recognition experienced consultant. The project would start off with you specifying exactly the full list of words/phrases which you would like the system to recognise at different stages, If you have this specification ready please post it here and we can comment on the feasibility of such a system. Guest Jennifer Report post Posted 12/04/2006 01:58 PM Hello Support, Thank you for your information. I have now an idea. I know now that the computer and the cards that I am using now are not the right one to implement such a service. I have an other question. I know that implementing this service in the dutch language is difference. 1) Will it be a problem to implement this? 2) Do I have to put my specifications on the forum or an other address.
