SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/06/2006 07:09 AM If the line is ringing then the modem (or Dialogic card) should detect that it's ringing and inform VG of it, which then answers the call. The ringing should be the same regardless from where the call is made. Share this post Link to post
Guest anjupt Report post Posted 12/06/2006 11:34 AM so what might be the problem .The scripts works when dialled locally but not when called from different location. Can u suggest a solution for this problem ThankYou Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/06/2006 01:01 PM Have you checked if you are dialing the right number? Try connecting the line to a telephone handset and see if it rings when you dial the number... Share this post Link to post
Guest anjupt Report post Posted 12/09/2006 10:08 AM yes the phone number works .When i call the number its ringing but the script is not responding ..Usually the script reponds by the second ring but in this case it does not respond at all Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/09/2006 10:49 AM It's very strange that system behaves differently depending from where the call is made. The only explanation would be that the ringing is different when calls are made from different locations and that the card or modem does not recognise the other ringing. Are you sure the VoiceGuide trace log does not show the modem/card report any RINGs when call is made from the other location? Try connecting the modem to a terminal program and see if RING messages appear on the terminal screen when calls are made from both locations. Share this post Link to post

Guest anjupt Report post Posted 12/11/2006 12:21 PM hi, No It doesnt show that its registered when i start the voiceguide ...I have tried registering voiceguide but each time it fails.Should i be registering it on each machine whereever voiceguide is installed. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/11/2006 06:52 PM I have tried registering voiceguide but each time it fails.Sounds like the problems here may be stemming from the fact that you are only running the software in evaluation mode and that the software requires restart every hour when running in that mode. Did you purchase a license? If you have problems entering a purchased license please send a screenshot of the registration error together with the filled out registration window to sales@voiceguide.com To ensure the registration codes are entered exactly as were provided.
