Guest sanjayetsi Report post Posted 12/06/2006 06:37 PM Hello, We are currently using Intel dialogic D/4PCI card with VG version 5.2.3063 using regular copper BELL telephones lines. We require to establish 16 lines calling facility at the same time with VOIP technology phones. We want to have these questions answered: 1) What version of the VG software you suggest? 2) What is the pricing for the VG software for 16 lines Licence? 3) Can we upgrade from our 4 lines licencing to 16 lines licencing? if so what will be the upgrade cost? 4) What Intel Hardware card (plan to bid on eBay) do you suggest and how much is the approx cost and the other sources in Toronto/Canada? 5) We will be getting the Adapters from the VOIP service providers which allows to use our existing copper wire compatible phones by directly connecting a regular Telephone wire. So can we use the same adapters to directly into the Intel card without buying any other adapters? 6) We want to have a facility to transfer the call to a human when we have called out using VG and the person presses a certain key on his telephone. Could thi be possible? 7) Any special suggestions for the Computer hardware configuration? Thanks Share this post Link to post

Guest sanjayetsi Report post Posted 12/14/2006 04:57 AM Q) You suggested VoiceGuide for Dialogic. Is this necessary for the VOIP or for the Transfer facility? As we had tried this version but because of the 8 bit sound compatibility we had stopped using this. Your Answer: See: https://secure.voiceguide.com/order_vg.htm Q) Can you be more specific for the VG software. Your drop down lists four options but we are not familiar with them. - We want to have a facility to transfer the call to a human when we have called out using VG and the person presses a certain key on his telephone. Could this be possible? Your answer: Yes. See comments at bottom of: https://secure.voiceguide.com/order_vg.htm Q) No Upgrade info as this is the same link as purchase. Can you give exact idea or link? Your answer: For 16 lines have a look at the DMV160 card. Q)IF we go with 16 lines what other Intel hardwares are compatible and also let us know if NON-Intel make are compatible with model names etc... Also is D / 160SC-LS Rev. 3 compatible with 16 VOIP lines ? Your answer: Yes, but you may need to use "Dial and Conference" transfers. Q) What does this mean? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/14/2006 06:47 AM If using a Dialogic card you should be using VoiceGuide for Dialogic, and not the v5.x of VG. Q) Can you be more specific for the VG software. Your drop down lists four options but we are not familiar with them.Sounds like you have not yet established which version of software you require. Have you looked at the page which lists what features each version offers: http://www.voiceguide.com/vgFeatures.htm - We want to have a facility to transfer the call to a human when we have called out using VG and the person presses a certain key on his telephone. Could this be possible? Are you describing an outgoing call made by VG, or VG transferring an existing call to an agent? Upgrade info is at the bottom of the order page. Also is D / 160SC-LS Rev. 3 compatible with 16 VOIP lines ?Yes, just connect the VoIP adapaters to the analog card's ports. Share this post Link to post
