Blindtransfer Between Sip And Isdn

I've tried ComISDN TSP with SIP support, I have a solution with and Eicon Diva Pro 2 ISDN adaptor and ComISDN.

 

Voiceguide version trial 5.2.5042.

 

The ISDN works and SIP works I can do blind transfer as long as I want to do a blind transfer fra ISDN to ISDN or SIP to SIP I can't do a ISDN to SIP or a SIP to ISDN.

 

Actually I would like to transfer based on a rule setting, a prefix or something like that.

 

Is that possible ?

Have you spoken to ComISDN about this?

Yes I have spoke with ComISDN and they say . " If the IVR system can specify the line they can".

ComISDN will in near comming future be lauching a gateway between SIP and ISDN.

Jesper: To operate ISDN blind-transfer with VG & ComISDN, you need:

 

1. v5.2.4047 TAPI VoiceGuide, earlier versions have issues with transfer

2. TansferControl_Modem=TAPI & TansferControl_TelBoards=TAPI in Vg.ini

3. Hardware mode setup in line features ComISDN properties (call hold, transfer, conf)

4. Explicit mode setup in line features ComISDN properties

5. ComISDN setup (and licensed) on every line-device you want to use.

6. VG setup (and licensed) on every line-device you want to use, ie: the VoIP line-devices too.

7. (You may also need Prof/Enterprise version of VG with dialler)

 

Please report back when ComISDN deliver the SIP<>ISDN connectivity.

Thanks, I've been told that the ComISDN Gateway for SIP ISDN is postponed to 11th. of January 2007

 

I'll look into your solution, and se if I get it working.

The Beta of "VoiceGuide for VoIP" is available.

 

VoiceGuide for VoIP can control ISDN T1/E1 lines as well, so it's very straightforward to make a ISDN<->SIP connection using a "Dial and Conference" (ie. Tromboned) type transfer.

(note that only T1 or E1 based ISDN is supported at this stage, not BRI ISDN)

Hi Tim and others

 

I have tried this setup: a Sipura 3102 (FXS/FXO) PSTN to SIP, NCH.COM.AU Axon SIP PBX and UPLINK and Skype,

 

So now I can call from a Skype account or SIP account directly into Voiceguide. To be honest, there are a lot of echo and using number choice doesn't work well.

If using SIP we would recommend using v7 of VoiceGuide, running in VoIP mode. And a Skype<->VoIP gateway if you use Skype as well.
