LTympanick Report post Posted 12/21/2006 03:40 AM Hello Support, I've installed a Dialogic/4 PCI card and followed all the instructions and got the credit card application to work just great on my Windows XP system. Problem is now I apparently have lost all the audio devices I used to have on this machine. They appear to no longer be options is my audio device list. I really still want them around because I want to be able to record sound files, etc. on my machine. How can I restore the audio devices I used to have? Is this possible with Dialogic & TAPI installed on this same machine? Thanks. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/21/2006 03:47 AM Not sure why you would be losing other audio devices. When using a Dialogic card you should be using 'VoiceGuide for Dialogic'. You should not be installing any TAPI or Wave drivers for the Dialogic card when using 'VoiceGuide for Dialogic'. Share this post Link to post
LTympanick Report post Posted 12/23/2006 03:43 PM I was stumped too. As it turns out, somehow, my Windows Audio under Control Panel's Services got turned off, I had to restart that and set it to Automatic restart. Once Windows Audio was turned back on, everything worked fine. Not sure if that was a result of the Dialogic install or what but that fixed the problem. Share this post Link to post
