Guest ddenara Report post Posted 01/31/2007 10:09 PM I am trying to find a board that will improve the quality of Text to Speech over the D/4pciu which only supports 8khz sampling rate. Does the d/41JCTLS support a better Text to Speech Quality? I have purchase the AT&T Natural Voices in 16khz sampling but I seem to have to use the 8khz 8 bit mono to be compatible with the d/4cpiu board. Any suggestions to get better quality? SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/31/2007 11:01 PM Pretty much all telephony cards play in 8kHz when playing sound on the phone line. Professionally recorded sound files will sound quite well (see the sample prompts which come with VG). TTS will not sound as good as professionally pre-recorded prompts.
