sonomagop Report post Posted 03/06/2007 10:54 PM We are going to be getting VOIP through ATT. I called them to confirm the telephony box they will be sending. It is a D-Link Telephone Adaptor, model number 5102S. It has 2 ethernet ports and 2 phone jacks, 1 primary and 1 secondary. Is your system compatable with this adaptor? I don't understand the purpose of the Dialogic card, can you explain what it is, what it does and why I need it? How does it work with the telephone adaptor. Thanks, Laurie Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/06/2007 11:54 PM The Dialogic card does the actual playing/recording of sound files and detection of keypresses etc. Sort of like the modem sends the the actual data/fax over the phone line. You just attach a telephone cable between the phone jacks on the VoIP adapter to the ports on the Dialogic card. Share this post Link to post
