Use Vbs Instead Of The "query Database" Function

My VG customer order system will be up running soon. I'v been test it for a while. My question is what the advantage is using VBS other than the 'Query Database' function? I'm wondering why you suggest using VBS instead of the 'query database' function. I appreciate your answer.

Use if the Database Query module is preferred. If you can use the Database Query module the we'd recommend you do. It's faster then trying to perform the database query from within VBScript.

 

For some database interactions the Database Query module cannot be used and in those cases the more flexible VBScript approach can be used. One such example would be of you are calling stored procedures in the database.
