Guest chad Report post Posted 03/14/2007 10:49 PM hi, Our company is thinking about buying some boards and software to build a voice conference system. Will DMV480-2T1 do it? Or we need to buy some others conference card to work with DMV cards? Thanks Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/14/2007 10:57 PM The DM480A will be fine. It will be labeled DM480A-2T1 The latest version of the dual T1/E1 interface card is the DMV600B - best to get this latest version. Contact sales@voiceguide.com for pricing on the various conferencing options available with VoiceGuide. Share this post Link to post
Guest chad Report post Posted 03/15/2007 05:58 PM Oh, yes, you are right. It is DM480A-2T1. I have read some posts about this card. And it mentioned "media load". Is this something configurable? Coz we need to use them as conferencing. Also, it says if it runs on media load 10, it has 48/60, which means 48voice/60conference. Does this mean we have both 48v and 60 conf at the same time or we can only either use it as 48 voice channel OR 60 conference channel as old DCB board? And also, how to make it run on media load 10, or VoiceGuide can set this? Thanks a lot. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/15/2007 08:51 PM Both voice channels and conferencing resources can be used simultaneously, it's not a case of one or the other. Media Loads are specified in the Dialogic Configuration Manager. Share this post Link to post
