Play Music When Call In Being Transfered

Hi All,

 

I need some help please.

 

When a customer now calls the VG takes the call and it play's a menu where the customer can choose a option.

 

When he for example press 2 than the call is transfered to a call group like the sales department.

But in the mean while when this call is being transfered the customer hears nothing and doesn't know what is going on.

 

So i would like to play a music while the call is being transfered. So the customers know's that he still is on hold. But HOW can i set this up???

 

Can some one please help me out.

If you are doing hookflash transfers it's the PBX or the Telco company which is responsible for playing any music/announcements, as it is the PBX/Telco that is holding the call. VG is using the line to dial the next number.

 

When doing a "Dial and Conference" VoiceGuide can play the music on the 1st line. The option to do this is available in the call transfer module's properties.
