SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/21/2007 04:07 AM So what phone system are the agents using? Share this post Link to post
Guest chrisha Report post Posted 03/21/2007 04:16 AM an analog phone. and supposed to implement the 30 channels from the vg Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/21/2007 05:04 AM What are the agent's analog phones connected to? Are the analog phones connected to the PBX, or does each agent have their own analog phone directly from the phone company (ie. connected to the Phone company's switch) ? Share this post Link to post
Guest chrisha Report post Posted 03/21/2007 06:19 AM the analog phone is connected to a channel bank Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/21/2007 06:50 AM And what is on the other side of the channel bank? Is it your company's PBX or do the wires from the channel bank led to the Telephone company's switch? Maybe you should speak with the telephone technician who has connected the phones up, or speak to the person who looks after the phone system. They will be able to explain to you how the phone system is wired up right now and what is the best place to attach the new E1 lines from VoiceGuide. Share this post Link to post
Guest chrisha Report post Posted 03/21/2007 07:22 AM Ok.. I have an isdn line with 30 channel which i connect to the dialogic card. my problem is how can the workstations be connected to that server? can i use a vg with dialer instead? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/21/2007 07:59 AM Yes, you can use the Dialer and perform 'Dial and Conference' type transfers to connect existing calls to the agents. Share this post Link to post
Guest chrisha Report post Posted 03/21/2007 08:20 AM ok so how can i connect it with the workstations? do i need to install vg in every workstation? beacuse i already have it on the server Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/21/2007 09:01 AM ok so how can i connect it with the workstations? That would depend on what lines are attached to the phones the agents are using... do you know that? If you do not know what phone lines the agents are using then you should speak with the telephone technician who has connected the phones up, or speak to the person who looks after the phone system. They ought to be able to explain to you how the phone system is wired up right now and what is the best place to attach the new E1 lines from VoiceGuide. You need to tell us more about the phone lines and systems that you have setup right now if you want us to assist further... do i need to install vg in every workstation? No. Share this post Link to post
