SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/25/2007 10:25 PM Trace shows that "DISCONNECT_Tone8" was detected by the Dialogic card. If you are seeing false detections of that tone then you should reduce the permitted variations in frequency and cadence definitions. Your ConfigLine.xml is: <Tone Name="Call Progress Tone DISCONNECT_Tone8"> <Notes>Default Setting</Notes> <ID>DISCONNECT_Tone8</ID> <Freq1>470</Freq1> <Freq1Dev>40</Freq1Dev> <Freq2>660</Freq2> <Freq2Dev>60</Freq2Dev> <On>5</On> <OnDev>0</OnDev> <Off>5</Off> <OffDev>0</OffDev> <Count>10</Count> </Tone> is the cadence of the tone you are looking out for 50ms ON and 50ms OFF ? Or should the ON/OFF entries be changed to indicate 500ms ON/OFF cadence? We see that you are defining 8 different Disconnect tones the Dialogic card is to listen out for at the same time, Which must mean that you are dialing many different overseas systems and are hearing many different disconnect tones. We'd strongly recommend using a Digital system in such situations. On E1/T1 systems you will get instant notification of Disconnect, without the need for defining all the different disconnect tones. Guest fsoudbakhsh Report post Posted 03/26/2007 04:51 AM We receive and dial to Europe a lot. VoIP lines are the most economy way to call to Europe and Canada from U.S.A. Thus, using E1 and T1 are not as efficient as analog VoIP lines are for us. But it seems your advice to change the on and off time works. After I change the on and off time to 50, VG didn’t hung up while the voice file was playing. I repeated this test 5 to 6 times and script was run all the way to end without disconnecting. Thanks for your advice. Farzad Share this post Link to post
