Guest Mark Report post Posted 08/11/2003 04:14 PM I'm getting this error (see fragment below) when trying to access 0.wav I'm running VG5.0 b on a Dell 4400 (NO sound card!) with Win2000 Server using a ZOOM 3049C v.92/v.90 (see http://www.zoom.com/ts1/analog/external.shtml). I am wondering if the 3049L (uses Lucent inctead of the Conexant chip) would work instead?... or perhaps there is another problem? I have re-installed modem drivers, checked file paths, etc. but it seems that the modem is just choking on the .wav files Any guidance offered is appreciated... ----snip----- 202144.89 1 WorkingModeTAPI= 202144.89 1 WorkingModeScript= 202144.91 1 Dialing: Playing introduction message 202144.91 0 Script Load G:\voice\0.wav 202144.91 -1 ERROR 5.0.1008 VgsScriptLoad [G:\voice\0.wav]:0 202150.19 1 ERROR 5.0.1008 Loading Script err=-1, G:\voice\0.wav 202150.20 1 StartLoadedVgs at 8/9/2003 8:21:50 PM 202150.20 1 ERROR 5.0.1008 StartLoadedVgs: Script not initialised for this line 202150.20 0 dial callque delete id=10 202151.66 1 callstate DISCONNECTED 66475,1,0 202151.66 1 LsWaitAfterDialingOut EV_REMOTEPARTY_DISCONNECT 202151.67 0 dial callque update id=10 next call time 0308092221 202151.67 1 Hanging up call... SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/12/2003 01:11 AM I can see that you are testing with an early version of v5.0 Beta - (Beta8) which had some problems in this area... Please download the latest version (Beta19) and try with that version. Share this post Link to post
Guest Mark Report post Posted 08/12/2003 04:21 AM Well, upgrading to the latest beta version seemed to fix the .wav file problem but now it seems like the script is not responding at all (at least that's my guess) but I'm not exactly sure what the log below is telling me. Thanks in advance for any further advice. md10024 Report post Posted 08/12/2003 10:07 PM I may have a driver installation problem related to this zoom modem that could be the cause of this last problem. I will investigate and post follow-up Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/13/2003 05:26 AM It looks like it: MMSYSERR_BADDEVICEID is a sign that the drivers are bady misconfigured... Can you try removing all the wave drives on your system (including any sound card drivers) and then re-installing the wave drivers for your telephony device first. To remove other wave drivers got to Control Panel, double clock on System, select the Device Manager tab and go to Sound/Video/Game Controllers entry - then delete all other wave drivers.
