Zoltan Report post Posted 05/20/2007 08:02 PM VG creates a lot of files like : vbs_1_070521035441_SayNumberA vbs_1_070521033754_SayNumberB in the Temp directory. What is it and how can i stop it? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/20/2007 11:55 PM These temporary files are deleted by the cleanup task which runs every hour or so. These temporary files are used by the Say Number and Run VBScript modules. Share this post Link to post
ktruk Report post Posted 05/22/2007 10:16 AM Zoltan: Those saynumber scripts are the bits of code that VG builds to actually "say" a number. If you don't them, don't use saynumber - or verify a number in the getdigits module, then they won't be created. However, if you are using these scripts, then you must have the files. john_lo Report post Posted 11/30/2007 05:21 PM I'm also seeing these files, but the cleanup doesn't seem to run (I see them still there a day later, even after a VG restart). I'm on V6, is there a way for me to check on this "cleanup" engine? Thanks, John Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/01/2007 01:03 AM The cleanup task runs every hour or so but in recent VG versions it deletes files that are only more then 24 hours old. Share this post Link to post
