Tentative config from telecom provider for T1 PRI circuit

 

Protocol - N1-2

FAS (1 D channel, 23 B channels)

Two Way call interface / voice and data

 

DMS 100 config

 

Hunt Sequence-Most Idle (other options are Low to High, High to Low, Least Idle, Clockwise Circular, Counterclockwise Circular)

Numbering - 1st trunk is 1

Glare - CO Stand CPE Yield

High Level Datalink Type - Normal

 

Is this config tested to work with VoiceGuide with inbound and outbound calling?

 

Are there any changes that would improve system operation?

Probably better to select a "Low to High" Hunt Sequence. This way you can predict on which channel the next call will arrive - and this is very useful if the circuit ever needs to be debugged.

 

The rest of the config is fine.

 

You should now be able to select NI2 as the IDN protocol in the Dialogic Config Manager, then change Config.xml as per the "T1 ISDN" sample Config.xml, and then just start VoiceGuide for Dialogic and see it answer incoming calls.

 

Please ensure that you are using the latest SR6.0 drivers from Dialogic (SR6.0 Service Update 184).
