baltazar13 Report post Posted 06/25/2007 11:50 AM Hi, Please ignore my ignorance. I have only one analogue line running from my telco which happens to be BT in the UK and connected to 1 port on my dialogic D/41 EPCI. In addition to the connection to the dialogic card, I also have 3 phones connected in parallel all feeding from the main phone socket Here is my question. I know I can do basic call handling with VoiceGuide such as DTMF, CLI, Voice Prompts, etc ... but is there any way I can use DTMF to capture the caller's input, then if the caller enters let's say digit 1 the call continues to ring on the 3 phones in the house, if the caller enters digit 2 the call is forwarded to voice mail. Basically I just need to know if with my current setup and having only one line will VoiceGuide have to terminate the call or allow the call to be handled by any of the 3 handsets. If not possible and If I have 2 phone lines, will I be able to achieve what I want? Many thanks Share this post Link to post

Then any of the 3 phones can be picked up to speak with the caller (and VoiceGuide can record the call as well at the same time). the caller enters digit 2 the call is forwarded to voice mail. Sure, no problem there. Share this post Link to post

When you say I need to play a sound file on the PC speaker, do you mean playing a ring tone while the phones are silenced because the call has already been answered by VoiceGuide. In that case will the caller be hearing the ring tone? Many thanks again Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/26/2007 06:36 AM You can play any sound file you would like over the PC speaker. The caller would not hear sound files played over the PC speaker. Share this post Link to post
