Recommended Posts

TESTS.ZIP

Hi,

we made a simple script that play a message but when I try to call I don't listen it,

VoiceGuide answer but I can't listen the message.

Pls. find attached a zip file that contains the sys details, the wave file and the VG logs.

Any ideas ? With VG5.00 all runs fine as I remember.

Thanks.

The attacehd .WAV file is recorded at 11kHz.

v6.x of VoiceGuide uses 8kHz WAV files. 11kHz sound file wouls sound 'slow' when played under v6.x of VoiceGuide.

Nothing to do. I tried with the 8 kHz format but the problem still remain. VoiceGuide answer but I don't listen anything.

Is there any special setting to do for Europe ?

Attached there is a new test file. Any ideas ?

Thanks

Traces show that the Dialogic card reported reading in the file correctly and reported that it is playing it:

082050,02 1 state [intro] Playing (C:\voice\test.wav)

082050,02 1 timer clear

082050,05 1 play start ok, lPlayId=336578

With playing concluding 12 seconds later as expected (as sound file had 96000 bytes of data):

082102,13 1 tw PlayEnd 1 336578

The lower TW layer confirmed that Dialogic did not report any issues playing the file:

082050.015 001 play start (hli=0x1c5008, strSoundFile=C:\voice\test.wav, lPlayId=336578(0x522c2), lParam1=0, lParam2=0, strParam1=, strParam2=)

082050.015 pcm sample_bytes=1, data_size=96000 _

082050.046 001 dlgc play(1, 0xa53a5e8, 0x0, 0x1c84f4) => 0, hli=0x1c5008

082102.125 001 ev TDX_PLAY (Play Completed)

Which Dialogic card is used on this system?

Do the Dialogic's sample demos like the Voice Horoscope work fine?

We have installed one D/4PCI

The voice Horoscope answer the call but I am unable to listen anything.

However the D/4PCI is not recognized in the Hardware Panel (see image attached), could be this the problem ?

If you cannot hear anything when the Dialogic's own sample/demo applications play as well then it looks like your card is faulty.

No. That does not affect card's operation.
