Pausing For Busy

Hi,

 

In our application, when we have a caller on the phone, and try to conference this with another number, sometimes the other number is busy. What is the best way to hold the caller and then try again.

 

Should I just play a little music for 30 seconds.. or is there a better way.

The best way is to just point a Fail path from the Transfer module to a Play module and play a sound file for the 30 seconds. Then use a 'Timeout 0' path to go to a Transfer module again and attempt another transfer.
