Guest Jonah Report post Posted 09/26/2007 03:15 PM I am setting up voiceguide at a new location and the switch programmer has asked me for some information regarding switch programming. Can you please answer the following questions? Thank you. 1. Is the frame setting super-frame (SF) or extended super-frame (ESF). 2. Is the line coding alternate mark inversion (AMI) or binary eight zeros substitution (B8ZS) 3. Is the circuit T1 with channel-associated-signaling (CAS) OR ISDN-PRI with common-channel-signaling (CCS or D-Channel Signaling) 4. Is the ISDN switch type National ISDN, 5ESS, or DMS100. SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/27/2007 06:04 AM The preferred ISDN protocol is "National ISDN". Framing must be ESF for ISDN. Share this post Link to post
