How to simulate the HOLD key on the phone, means I do not want to transfer to particular extension, just want to release back to phone system.

On analog systems this is done by sending a hookflash.

Just specify an exclamation mark:

!

in the Play module and VoiceGuide will then send a hookflash. The PBX should then place the call on hold. Send another hookflash to take the call off hold.

The hookflash length need to be set right so that the PBX detects it properly. You may want to read: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/ht...lltransfers.htm
