Vg 7 - Licence Issue

Hi,

 

We have upgraded to VG 7 and now need to confirm that the licences we purchased are active?

 

At present we are getting these notices in the log file and support forum searches show that this is related to a licencing issue.

For now in v7 the registration confirmation is contained in the vgEngine log file, just after the lib_num2wav scan report.

 

If the registration confirmation is missing there then the system is running in evaluation mode.

 

eg: look at the line in bold:

Thanks for the update.

 

Searched the log file and found the following:

 

1129_1332_vgEngine.txt STATES:

133256.328 5 lib_num2wav.vbs read complete

133256.328 5 no license file C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\userinfo.lic

133256.343 5 reg , lines: 30 id: | FX031530

 

I restarted the service to continue testing and the new log file is below.

I can confirm there is a userinfo.lic file but do not want to post it to this forum for you to review. Prior to the creation of the latest log file I did use VG Licence Manager to enter the registration information that I had.

What can I do next to ensure the system is licenced other than make another 10 calls?

A line:

 

reg , lines: 30 id: | FX031530

 

means that the software is running in evaluation mode. (evaluation mode allows for up to 30 channels to be used)

 

Right now in v7 when entering the license in the License Manager the following 4 lines of the license need to be cut and pasted into the "License details" text box:

 

Name=xxxxxxx

Company=xxxxxxx

Code=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

ForUniqueId=xxxxxxxx

 

And the "Activate License" button pressed.

 

Then restart VoiceGuide IVR service.

 

If after restart the license still does not take then please send an email to sales@voiceguide.com advising that the supplied license does not seem to work, providing the license used and the order details.

I can't activate the product.

 

I 've written in a .txt file the Unique Id, The code etc...

I've verified many times. It's exactly like your sample.

 

I've clicked on the Activate Button but VoiceGuide 7 is already in trial mode.

Please contact sales@voiceguide.com with any registration code related enquiries. In your email please provide the trace from v7, and the userinfo.lic file from VG's directory.
