Guest miva Report post Posted 11/29/2007 03:46 AM Hi, We have upgraded to VG 7 and now need to confirm that the licences we purchased are active? At present we are getting these notices in the log file and support forum searches show that this is related to a licencing issue. 143331.656 9 2 answering the call (picking up the line) 143331.656 9 **************************************************** 143331.656 9 2 AnswerTheCall: Evaluation time expired 143331.656 9 **************************************************** What is the process? SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/29/2007 04:25 AM For now in v7 the registration confirmation is contained in the vgEngine log file, just after the lib_num2wav scan report. If the registration confirmation is missing there then the system is running in evaluation mode. eg: look at the line in bold: 130212.660 5 lib_num2wav.vbs read begin 130212.660 5 lib_num2wav.vbs scan string begin (21805) 130212.660 5 --- 130212.660 5 Digits | Digits to be spoken : | Digits 130212.660 5 Number | Number to be spoken : | Number 130212.675 5 Number - comma as decimal | Number to be spoken : | Number_CommaAsDecimal 130212.675 5 Amount - Dollars | Amount : | AmountDollars 130212.675 5 Amount - Dollars And Cents | Amount : | AmountDollarsAndCents 130212.675 5 Amount - Cents | Amount in cents : | AmountCents 130212.675 5 Date - MMDD | MMDD or MM/DD: | DateMMDD 130212.675 5 Date - MMDD - DM | MMDD or MM/DD: | DateMMDD_DM 130212.675 5 Date - DDMM | DDMM or DD/MM: | DateDDMM 130212.675 5 Date - DDMM - MD | DDMM or DD/MM: | DateDDMM_MD 130212.691 5 Date - MMDDYYYY | MMDDYYYY or MM/DD/YYYY: | DateMMDDYYYY 130212.691 5 Date - MMDDYYYY - DMY | MMDDYYYY or MM/DD/YYYY: | DateMMDDYYYY_DMY 130212.691 5 Date - DDMMYYYY | DDMMYYYY or DD/MM/YYYY: | DateDDMMYYYY 130212.691 5 Date - DDMMYYYY - MDY | DDMMYYYY or DD/MM/YYYY: | DateDDMMYYYY_MDY 130212.691 5 Time am/pm - HHNN | Time in format HHNN or HH:NN | TimeHHNN 130212.691 5 Time 24 hour - HHNN | HHNN or HH:NN | TimeHHNN24 130212.691 5 Date & Time - MMDDHHNN | MMDDHHNN or MM/DD, HH:NN: | DateTimeMMDDHHNN 130212.691 5 Date & Time - DDMMHHNN | DDMMHHNN or DD/MM, HH:NN: | DateTimeDDMMHHNN 130212.691 5 Date & Time - MSSQL format | YYYY-M-D HH:NN:SS | DateTimeMSSQL 130212.691 5 Date & Time - SQL Long Date & Time | M/D/YYYY H:NN:SS AM/PM | DateTimeSQLLongDateTime 130212.691 5 Date & Time - Mid Date, Long Time | D-MMM-YY HH:NN:SS AM/PM | DateTimeMidDateLongTime 130212.691 5 Time - HH:NN:SS AM/PM | HH:NN:SS AM/PM | DateTimeLongTime 130212.691 5 --- 130212.691 5 lib_num2wav.vbs read complete 130212.707 5 reg Enterprise, VG Dialer, lines: 120 id: | HQ282762 | HK499216 130212.707 5 OpenChannels start Share this post Link to post
Guest miva Report post Posted 11/29/2007 04:46 AM Thanks for the update. Searched the log file and found the following: 1129_1332_vgEngine.txt STATES: 133256.328 5 lib_num2wav.vbs read complete 133256.328 5 no license file C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\userinfo.lic 133256.343 5 reg , lines: 30 id: | FX031530 I restarted the service to continue testing and the new log file is below. 1129_1441_vgEngine.txt STATES 144107.531 5 lib_num2wav.vbs read complete 144107.546 5 reg , lines: 30 id: | FX031530 144107.546 5 OpenChannels start 144107.546 5 OpenChannels set ktTel_LineOpen loop st I can confirm there is a userinfo.lic file but do not want to post it to this forum for you to review. Prior to the creation of the latest log file I did use VG Licence Manager to enter the registration information that I had. What can I do next to ensure the system is licenced other than make another 10 calls? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/29/2007 04:55 AM A line: reg , lines: 30 id: | FX031530 means that the software is running in evaluation mode. (evaluation mode allows for up to 30 channels to be used) Right now in v7 when entering the license in the License Manager the following 4 lines of the license need to be cut and pasted into the "License details" text box: Name=xxxxxxx Company=xxxxxxx Code=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx ForUniqueId=xxxxxxxx And the "Activate License" button pressed. Then restart VoiceGuide IVR service. If after restart the license still does not take then please send an email to sales@voiceguide.com advising that the supplied license does not seem to work, providing the license used and the order details. svitex Report post Posted 02/01/2008 10:50 AM I can't activate the product. I 've written in a .txt file the Unique Id, The code etc... I've verified many times. It's exactly like your sample. I've clicked on the Activate Button but VoiceGuide 7 is already in trial mode. Share this post Link to post
