Dialer Load Numbers From Txt All Rejected

All phone numbers are rejected when loading numbers from a txt file.

VoiceGuide v6.0.2003, Windows XP SP2, dialogic 4 port card.

 

sample of txt file:

 

"(631) 949-1105,051257"

"(714) 953-0760,007568"

"(717) 774-6397,018884"

"(704) 272-8331,052054"

"(718) 364-0756,033391"

"(765) 759-5110,018968"

We'd also recommend updating to the latest version of v6 - v6.0.2003 is a bit old, but after updating you may be forced to use the XML input file format. See: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/ht...iallistinto.htm

 

Please also try modifying the input file to not include any quotes or dashes or brackets or spaces (commas are fine).

 

The input file should look like this:

The XML format would be a little 'challenging' for me. Is there any way I could get an older version of the dialer that would work with a simple text file of phone numbers as I showed in my first post?

 

Also, does the Outbound dialer require MicroSoft Access installed on the machine with VoiceGuide?

The Outdial_rejected text file has the following entry, if this is any help:

 

NumberCount_dial ListFile_Rejected_Other=12

We had previously been able to type a phone number in the Dialer, as we did several time to test the scripts, but now even the one phone number we had used for testing is rejected.

How are you trying to load the calls into the system?

 

Are you using the "OutDial file" approach, or are you using the Telephone Number Loader application?

 

 

Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Trace Logs which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what is happening on this system.

 

Enable logging by setting the log levels to 10 in VG.INI as per below:

[Log]

 

VoiceGuide=10

NumberLoader=10

Then restart VG and load the calls.

 

Trace files will be created in VG's \log\ subdirectory.

 

Please post the traces.

 

When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments.

Have you tried loading the list of phone numbers by copying the list of numbers into the "Telephone Numbers" text box, instead of specifying for the list to be loaded from the file?

I just tried your suggestion, no good. All numbers reject, even a single number we used for testing last week rejects now.

Is it possible that some other process has opened the OutDialQue database and was using it?

 

Please close down VoiceGuide and the Telephone Numbers Loader and then delete the OutDialQue database from VoiceGuide's \data\ subdirectory.

 

Then start the Telephone Numbers Loader and try loading the phone numbers again.

The Call Loader log helped me identify the issue, thanks.

 

Our script file name PECProduct Rec'd.vgs had the apostrophy which caused a syntax error when loading the phone numbers.

When we removed the ' mark, everything worked great.
