We are proposing a new study and need to be able to do the following: We would like to randomly page study participants from 6am to midnight (18 hours) 52 times (on average 3 times an hour). We have university pagers that we can use, can your system be set up to provide beeps to these pagers throughout the day? Thank you so much for your time, Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/14/2008 11:28 PM It's fairly straightforward to have VoiceGuide dial numeric pagers. Basically the VG Dialer would just dial the paging service number, then the pager number and then the pager message. The pager number and message can usually be dialed immediately after the telephone number, and all that is requires is to place a short pause (a couple of commas) between the telephone number, the pager number and the message. eg to dial pager number 11223344 and deliver message 8888 the following number would be loaded in VG Dialer: 5551234,,11223344,,8888 where 5551234 is the pager service access number. Calls loaded into VoiceGuide can be scheduled to be made at a particular time/date, so all calls can be pre-loaded and VoiceGuide will make the calls as they are due. Please refer to this Help file page for information on how to load calls into the system: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/ht...iallistinto.htm If all that is required is to dial the digits and the hangup then both the "VG script" fields can be set to ignore Share this post Link to post
