SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/01/2008 10:58 PM We'd recommend using Dialogic hardware cards. Doing it using VoIP requires good knowledge of how VoIP works and how to design the network to overcome VoIP's problems/limitations. Using normal analog or T1/E1 lines is much easier then setting up a VoIP system. If using VoIP you would basically need to locate your server in a Data Center which has VoIP providers located in it as well. This would allow you to achieve good quality VoIP connections to their switches. If your VoIP server is not located in a data center then you would need to ensure that you have a VPN etc. setup with guaranteed bandwidth which can ensure reliable and uninterrupted VoIP connectivity. In practice you will find that using normal analog lines or T1/E1 lines will give you a better performing system. Share this post Link to post
