cache Report post Posted 02/02/2008 02:01 PM Hi, Eslewhere in this forum, it is writtend that with a D4PCIU I cant do a trobmoned transfer. My need is this I have 2 Telecom lines and dont want to use a PBX. Supposing I get a call on Line 1 on fulfilling a criteria, VG should be using the second line and do a blind confrence. It is able to dial out and also the caller is receiving the call and the status says confrenced but no voice is heard on both the lines. Please help, I'am trying to evaluate VG in the above situation as that is the most important and urgent need. D/4PCIU card would be fine. It's the entry level 4 port card. It cannot do "Dial and Conference" (Tromboned) transfers, but you do not require this functionality in this scenario as you will only use Hookflash transfers. Rgds Mohan Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/02/2008 08:28 PM You will need to get a D/41JCT card. The D/41JCT card can do Tromboned Transfer. From: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/modxfer.htm "Dial and Conference" can only be done with these Dialogic cards: D/41EPCI, D/41ESC, D/41JCT, D/120JCT, DMV160 and all digital cards.
