Guest galonga Report post Posted 02/10/2008 04:04 PM we've just downloaded voiceguide 7 as we are tired of the version we have (doesn't matter which, as we know you'll say it's TAPI and we should be using dialogic version bla bla) So we want to move to a voip pbx system. But apparently it does not come with a sip server? Is that's the case, is there a sip server you recommend? Remember: we no longer want to mess with dialogic cards, pbx systems, etc: we want to implement a system like asterisk and use SOMEHOW the voiceguide infrastructure we already have ok? thanks! SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/10/2008 11:26 PM VoiceGuide can register itself as a SIP extension with a SIP Server/Switch of your choice. For configuration examples please see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/ht...ip_register.htm You can register with Asterisk if that's what you chose to use (you need to use Asterisk v1.4 or later). You need to ensure that there is enough bandwidth reserved for the VoIP channels on your network if you would like to get the VoIP network to operate as well as a traditional phone system.
