I use a Eicon diva Server 4bri and VoiceGuide for TAPI v5.2.5049, and my problem is the false DTMF detections, I used a filter for DTMF tones in the .wav files so it have reduced the problem, but not all, now I want down DTMF sensitivity but I can’t see this option in vg.ini Please can you help me? SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/18/2008 12:17 PM The DTMF detection is done by the card, not by the software. You would need to consult the Diva's documentation to see if there is some way in which you can modify the DTMF detection on the card itself. We have not seen any false DTMF detections for a long time now, they used to happen a long time ago (10 years ago) when it was more common to encounter poor quality lines and phone handsets. Most of the false detections were not caused by faulty or poor telephony boards - it was usually the telephone handsets themselves or the lines distorting the sound. If you are recording the received sound you should be able to see in the recorded sound file if the tone itself is distorted. If the tone is clear then you should speak with the card supplier. ktruk Report post Posted 02/18/2008 09:50 PM Comet: I can confirm that DTMF detection on BRI 8m (v1 & v2 versions) is usually reliable and error free, using 5.2.5049 software (TAPI) and Eicon/Dialogic Drivers (v8x). The only issue we have is that when testing on a handsfree handset (ie: in speaker mode) one or 2 digits are mis detected due to echo/noise on one particualr phone I use occaisionally. If I lift the hansdset (take off speakerphone) then all is well. Share this post Link to post
