SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/28/2003 11:54 PM Looks like MSXML extensions have not installed themselves - can you please either: - try re-installing VoiceGuide again - this time selecting "No" to any "Restart Windows Now" prompts - the MSXML is installed last and and looks like sometimes another component installed just prior to it sometimes asks for a Windows restart... 0r - download MSXML from: http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/list/x.../xmlgeneral.asp and install it. pdessart Report post Posted 08/29/2003 07:10 PM I'm having the same error. I have tried both fixes (downloading & installing MsXML as well as re-installing VG). Neither worked... Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/29/2003 11:18 PM Not too sure what would cause MSXML not to install itself properly... Which OS/Service Pack/ version if IE has this system got installed? What I'd try doing next is installing any major Service Packs and ensuring that IE6 is installed on your system - then try installing MSXML again. BTW. we got a note from Dave Heyliger advising that downloading and installing MSXML fixed the issue on his system. Share this post Link to post
pdessart Report post Posted 08/30/2003 12:47 AM The O/S is Windows 2000 Pro with SP4. (A fresh install just for VG.) IE is 5.0. This is the 1st mention of any requirement for IE 6. Microsoft's MsXML download page doesn't mention this, nor do the MsXML Release Notes. It seems to me that the install script should check this before allowing an installation atop IE 5. I will try IE 6 next. Share this post Link to post
