fluffybunny Report post Posted 02/22/2008 05:41 PM I am trying to transfer calls across an E1 using the transfer function. I have set it up so a call comes in and VG then transfers to 206. I have set the transfer module to only use channels 2 and 3 to transfer. (Channel 1 being used to accept the inbound call). The first time I call channel 1 accepts the call and channel 2 makes the outbound call to 206 perfectly, and the calling and called parties are tromboned together. This is exactly as it should be. The next time I call channel 1 accepts the call and channel 3 makes the outbound call to 206 perfectly, and the calling and called parties are tromboned together. This is exactly as it should be as well. But the 3rd time I call channel 1 does not accept the call correctly. It seems to start ok but then just hangs up. If I set it so it can use any chanel for the outbound leg, then it works fine for every channel, but once it gets to channel 30 after that it keeps failing. i.e. it only seems to be able to use each channel once, and after than it is unable to find an outbound channel. I am using vg v6.0.3242, Win2k, SR5.1.1, DPNSS protocol I have attached log files. Thanks Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/06/2008 09:16 PM Looks like there is some problem with the Dialogic drivers not correctly ending the outgoing calls, which then blocks the lines from being used for outgoing calls. The "tw" trace shows errors from the Dialogic hardware. VoiceGuide cannot then find a line to dial out (as you have selected only lines 2 and 3 to be used for dialing out) and the Dial and Conference transfer fails. This then ends the call. This is a very old card (its still ISA, right?) that you are using and it is possible that it and/or the drivers have some bugs in them. Recommend you try the latest SR5.1.1 FP1 drivers. If possible also try using a different ISDN protocol on that E1 line. Otherwise we'd recommend getting a D/300JCT card and using the current SR6.0 drivers (and v7 of VoiceGuide).
