Guest grzegorzj Report post Posted 02/26/2008 02:46 PM Hello. My name is Grzegorz. I try to learn and set up VG for my clients. I have couple of problems (first post and first question). 1. Email larger than 20MB are not allowed to send by smtp serwer (they are blocked). My client would like to record conversations and some of them are ca 50 minutes and more. File format is wav (I know that vox is smaller but I don`t know where set up this functionality). Is there any possibility to split email larger than f.e 20MB? Thank You. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/26/2008 10:11 PM You would need to run a VBScript which checks the size of the just recorded file, and then if file size is found too large then you can run some .WAV splitting program. If this is a voicemail file then you would need to retrieve the forwarding email name from the voicemail config. If you require the splitting to be done automatically by the VoiceGuide software within the voicemail forwarding function please contact sales@voiceguide.com for a quote on getting this functionality implemented. SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/27/2008 01:02 AM Another option may be to convert the sound file to an .MP3 and send the .MP3 though an email. This could be done by modifying the voicemail scripts. Have you looked at using FTP to transfer the file instead of emailing it? In v7 it is possible to just send the email without the file attached by setting in VG.INI section [Voicemail] : ForwardVmEmail_IncludeWavFile=0 Share this post Link to post
