Guest TheyCalled Paul Report post Posted 03/14/2008 07:24 AM Tonight I was testing a new script, when it plays the welcome wave file, its getting cut off - the first 1/2 second so welcome sounds like elcome.. If you play the file by itself its fine. How do I add a slight pause. Should I record a blank wav file? or add a wait in a vbs in my script. Thanks. SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/14/2008 07:53 AM Some Telcos do not connect the voice path immediately after call is answered, but up to about half a second later - that is why sometimes the beginning of the first sound file played immediately after call is answered is not heard by caller. The solution is to insert some silence at beginning of the file, or play a short silence wav before playing the welcome message. Share this post Link to post
