Outgoing Call And Get Numbers

Recommended Posts

Can Voiceguide set up this call back feature?

Somebody call in and Voiceguide get caller ID number , Voiceguide hand up the call and dial out to that number. when that person pick up the phone, The call will be transfered to another line and the caller will here the dial tone and enter the destination number. So the call eventually is made use 2 lines.

What confuse me is that how to get numbers from receiver. Is Voiceguide Get Numbers module OK?

Yes, this is a fairly straightforward application.

VoiceGuide can use the CallerID to queue an outgoing call (use Send Voice Message module) and just specify that the script to be used for the outgoing call is one whicj asks caller for new telephone number (use a Get Numbers module for this) and then jsut do a "Dial and Conference" call transfer to that new number.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Note that for a professional solution you should really use a T1/E1 ISDN line for this, in order to get precise call length timings.

To immediately send back a busy tone after detecting the CallerID of the incoming call you need to use T1/E1 ISDN lines. You cannot do this on analog lines.

It does not matter how the call is routed before it gets to the Dialogic card. On analog lines you cannot signal a 'call drop' without first answering the call.
